To my new Nepali friend + Companion, Ramesh.
Let me begin by saying that trekking with you as my guide and having you to share the Himalayan Experience with me only served to enhance my time in Nepal. Even sitting here now, it is hard to believe that we spent 2 weeks together in this beautiful country among the beautiful Sherpa people, it all seems like a dream, one not. I do not went to end. My most vivid memory is that of our 10 hrs day, being lost in an Icefall on the Khumbu glacier. On that day, our physical beings, courage and psychological fortitudes were tested. Together we overcome the obstacles. I learned from you that day patience and perservance. Thanks to you. We4 make it alive and now here an unbelievable story to tell our grand children. Your knowledge to the trails, the people land and history was outstanding. I appreciate4d having you as my teacher than guide. My other memories include playing silly card games in Namche Bazaar, eating plates to boiled potatoes + chilly you stepping in Yak shit twice in the same day and as not showering in 10 days. There are many others but I am limited by space towards. Overall you are a very generous and compassionate man. You have earned my respect as a mountain man. Thank you so much for your friendship,
Sincerely (Your fastest Client!)

Trekking: Annapurna Circuit
Ramesh,
Thank you for a wonderful trek over the last 18 days. With your expertise and knowledge, it made the trip much more enlightening and enjoyable. Your choice of places to stay was excellent especially the ones where you could choose after some local girls which was everywhere of course! We all found the trek very hard at times but with your help and support we made it through to the end and some cold beers and coke back at Pokhara. Take care and have a great life,
All the best!

Dear Ramesh,
Despite our constant whirling and frequent recovery stops we received a great sense of satisfaction from the trek. Now that we are showered and clean, we are really glad that we have finished it. We appreciated your Nepali lessons and your knowledge of the Annapurna Region. Thank you for making sure we were comfortable warm and well fed.
Good luck with your math exam study extra hard. Thanks a bunch for everything. Everest Base Camp trek next time!

Hi and Nameste!
We saw in March last year. This is the second time to visit Nepal. It was too short to make a trek in 3 days last time. So, I have a plan to trek longer.
Before coming here, I had a cold but walking with Ramesh, I felt better and better. We had an accident that I couldn’t take the permission and had to stay at Dhampus all day. Beside it, we were well. We talked each other about nations, cultures and history.
I will not forget sceneries in Ghandruk and Ghorepani. I will be back again, see you later. Next time I will trek more than 3 week!
Thank you Ramesh

Namaste Ramesh (Dal Bhat Killer)!
Thank you for guiding our 21 days Annapurna Circuit trek. It was great to be able to see the Himalayas with you. Thank you for all your help at the Hotels and all of your knowledge and insights. Your help make our visit to Nepal more enjoyable and fomofrtable. Your smiles and happiness made the days pass by easier and your kindness and patience helps us cross the Thorong – La pass (5416m). I hope that we were not too slow. I also apologize if we did anything to offend you, Hari or anyone else. If you ever come to Canada, please contact me and I will show you some of my country. I wish you and Hari the best of Luck and hope that your new child is healthy and successful. I would not have picked a better guide or porter to show me this great country and if I come back to see Everest, I will find you to be my guide. Keep eating the porter sized Dal Bhat!

What a wonderful experience!
The views of the Himalayas were like looking at the home of the Gods!
In spite of the dubious distinction of being the only group to get sick on a short trek, I had a great experience with our trek and Ramesh, our fear less guide. He was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable.
Ramesh, you have motivated me to try the Annapurna Circuit one day. When I do, I will certainly ask for your as my guide!
Thanks for all of your hard work!

Trekking with Ramesh Paneru is an absolute delight. His knowledge of Khumbu’s trail and Peaks is both impressive and reassuring (Other guides and porters regularly ask him the way). His nature is kind and generous (He sings and smiles and offers jokes and jokes at just the right time) and he is an intent on sharing what he can of the Nepali culture and politics with trekkers as he is with safely acclimatizing them on their way toward their destination. As for the trek itself, the views from Kalapatthar on a clear morning speak for themselves they are nothing short of brutally magnificent. As for Ramesh, I recommend him with great enthusiasm and without reservation and look forward to returning to Nepal to trek with him again!

Hello Ramesh,
Namaste!
Although it was only a “baby” tour, the last 4 days were pleasure and horror. Thank you for showing us how beautiful Nepal is and for helping and encouraging us to “Overcome” the stones and difficulties. Be sure that you and this trekking will remain an unforgettable event in our lives……….. and special thanks for building “Bridge” for me over particularly difficult steps!

Date: 8/9/2005!
Dear Ramesh,
First, we feel so sorry that we made your tummy growing bigger each day since we made you share almost half of our food. Thanks for your trekking with us and taking care of us. Without you, we might not be able to complete our walk. Nepali people are all kind and friendly, especially in the mountain villages. This made us feel very comfortable and peaceful. We love Nepal!
Your smiling face is like a sunshine during the rainy days. We hope we would have a “moonlight Dance” with you one day. As you are growing up, you should take more beer and cigarette. Do not fool around with so many pretty girls!
When I looked at the mountains in the morning, it made me feel like still dreaming. I must say that the walk was not easy to me but I am so glad that I finally mad it. This would not be possible at all if I had chosen to walk alone. Thank you for showing us all the beauties of your people and your country. See you soon!
Love you and your “baby” (Big stomach)
