Royal Trekking

 

This trek was design for His Royal highness the Prince of Wales on his visit to Nepla in 1980. Ideal for those with limited time in their hand but wishing to experience Nepal . It is classic and easy trek for Himalayan standard but there are lots of ups and down. The trek is mostly off the beaten tracks along ridge line passing through rhododendron forests, terraced paddy fields, villages and of course the view of the Annapurna massif and Manaslu range. As well the best view can achieve from the chisapani top.

Royal Trek – (3 – 6 Days)
The trek has been so named after it was first used by HRH Prince of Wales. The trek covers altitudes below 2,500 meters .Along the route the visible views are the Annapurna Range, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Hiunchuli and Himalchuli. The best season to trek on this route would be from September till April when the rhododendron and orchid flowers could be seen along with different species of birds.

The trek starts near Pokhara (Bijaypur) and ends at Pokhara (Begnas Tal). Along the route you could find lots of forests and villages. The Begnas Tal (Lake) lies in this area.

This is an easy trekking for those who wants low elevation and less difficulties days to walk in the mountain. The trek covers altitude below 2,500 meters. This is a short popular trek starts from Pokhara. Along the route, it offers good mountain views that can be seen are Annapurna Range, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and Himal Chuli. Through the route, you can see Ex-Gorkhas and Gurung villages and more about the religion and religious people.

It gained its name “Royal Trek” because Prince Charles of United Kingdom, entourage of 90 guests, camp followers and staffs trekked here some years ago. The best season to trek this route would be from September till April when the rhododendron, Orchid could be seen along with different species of birds. Along the route you could find plenty of forests and villages. Begnas Tal (Lake) lies in this area.

It gained its name because Prince Charles trekked here. This is an easy and a short trek that offers good mountain views, ridge walking, forests, rice fields and different caste villages. If you are doing this trek in the summer the river may be difficult to cross due to flood. After crossing the river the trail ascends to Kalikastan, a walk on the ridges of the mountain with spectacular views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal, through the Gurung village, rhododendron and sal forest. Half way through the walk there is a 400m descent and 600m ascent to arrive at Chisapani. This is the best point from which to see the Himalayan panorama.

You will see the Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna .

This is a simple and short Trek, the good Mountain Viewen offers, the going edge, the forests, the paddies and the different form-villages. If you do this Trek on the summer, the river can be difficult to cruise because of the flood. After she/it has crossed the river, the track climbs on Kalikastan, a way on the crust of the mountain with wonderful opinions of Annapurna and from Lamjung Himal, through which Gurung village, the rhododendron and the salt-forest. Half manner through the way there is a 400m deterioration - and 600m-Aufstieg, to reach Chisapani. This is the best point, to the the Himalayan panorama, to see. You/they see the Dhaulagiri of Annapurna too west.

Day 01 Kathmandu – Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara (930 m), 07 hrs drives.
Overnight at the Hotel – BB basis.

Day 02 Pokhara – Kalikasthan Camp .
Trek from Pokhara to Kalikasthan Camp (1370 m).
Overnight at the tented camp .

Day 03 Kalikasthan Camp - Syaklung Danda .
Trek from Kalikasthan Camp to Syaklung Danda (1730m)
Overnight at the tented camp .

Day 04 Syklung Danda - Chisapani Camp .
Trek from Syklung Danda to Chisapani Camp .
Overnight at the tented camp .

Day 05 Chisapani Camp - Begnas Tal .
Trek from Chisapani Camp to Begnas Tal .
Overnight at the tented camp .

Day 06 Begnas Tal - Pokhara – Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu 07 hrs.
